ER16, ER20, ER25, and ER32 collets

The most widely used clamping system for straight shank diamond tools is the ER Collet.
The series number is the opening diameter of the tapered receptacle, in millimeters.

Er collet Sizes

Available in 4 different sizes:

• ER16 Collet –> dimension of 17 x h.28 mm and it’s available in different diameters from 3 mm to 10 mm
• ER20 Collet –> dimension of 21 x h.31 mm and it’s available in different diameters from 6 mm to 14 mm
• ER25 Collet –> dimension of 26 x h.34 mm and it’s available in different diameters from 6 mm to 20 mm
• ER32 Collet –> dimension of 33 x h.40 mm and it’s available in different diameters from 3 mm to 20 mm

ER Collet Diameters

You can choose Er collet with a diameter from 3 mm up to 20 mm.
This is the diameter of the diamond tool that you can use (tool shank diameter)

ER collet Treatments

These ER collets are made of hardened steel and are ideal for many machining applications including boring, milling, reaming, tapping and grinding.ù

You can choose also the treatment standard or darkside.
The darkside treatment is an extra corrosion treatment that makes the tool life even longer.
